Rootedness

Trees have long captured our imaginations and soothed our souls. In a world of restless motion, trees restore us to stillness and calm. Forests are the cathedrals of wild women.

For trees escape is not an option. What might be different if we met every challenge by becoming more rooted in ourselves and our place in the world?

Community

Trees remind us of the importance of community. Strong, healthy trees grow slowly but surely, bond with their neighbours, friends and families to create supportive networks, share resources and help those in need.

Trees do what is best for both them and the wider forest community. They know that their health and well-being depend on the health of the forest as a whole.

‘Rewilding is about becoming re-enchanted with nature. It is about nurturing our sense of wonder.’ ~ Marc Bekoff
